Shout Out: Spirestone Wastes

While I'm in the process of moving to a new location and that's leaving me with little time for anything else, I thought I'd at least get a quick word out on a lesser-known blog out there that deserves some recognition. Today my shout out goes to Oniakki of Spirestone Wastes who has some very unique conversion work that blows me out of the water. The above image is of an Obliterator that...well, my pants fit better after seeing this picture. More of Oniakki's work after the break.

I must admit that some of these conversions tugged on some heart strings with me. Obviously there's the How-To on magnetizing a Defiler and a great WIP for Noise Marines (as some of you might know I really wish to start a Noise Marine army at some point down the line.)

Another great WIP is a Starship Module that is coming along quite nicely.

I don't want to spoil all of the surprises this blog has to offer, so I'll leave you with this. Almost every article has a completely unique take on conversion work which is always worth a look to me. So if you're interested in CSM, Tau or just dynamic conversion work in general, head on over to Spiretone Wastes and become a follower.

Later days.

  1. I imagine those little legs scurrying along quite fast to support that terminator.

    He definitely looks cool though.
