So the hobby table has been pretty vacant for the last month, but only because I've been creating a gaming table. I've always wanted to make my own, with all of the bells and whistles, but without time, space and knowledge on woodworking and electrical work, I never really got around to it. Until I moved to a new place with the room for such a project. And so, I dove in. More after the jump.

This year was a damn good one for me hobby-wise. I painted, I built, I played, I read, I got good news and I surprisingly stayed consistent on this blog and at the hobby table. 2015 was a good one, so join me as I run through the ups and downs of the hobby for me this year and as you prep to get sloshed tonight, won't you? 2014 wasn't without its setbacks, and I certainly didn't get as much finished as I wanted in the hobby area of my life, but the models I did complete I'm very happy with. Below is essentially just a picture dump from all the projects I worked on this year. Enjoy!

And while I'm excited to get some things started I think it's important to take a little time to look back on all things in life, even the hobby. So while projects are coming, I want to take a bit to reminisce on 2013 and all that happened to me during that time.

(Originally posted on 12/12/12) It looks like it's my turn to share. Wow, what a year. We've laughed, we've cried, we've finally collectively discovered Martin Freeman. But enough about emotions and acting genius, let's talk shop. This year saw the release of 6th Edition, Chaos Space Marines and Necron players such as myself still chuckling to themselves after years of praying for a tie as we now poop whatever Necrons poop on their enemies. I'm going to guess it's Gauss bars or something, I don't know. All of this rules talk for most of the year has really hit me with a hard realization; I'm caring very little for the game and very much for the hobby as time goes on.

Look What I Did: New Tattoo And Swag

Hey there! I'm out of town for a day, so I thought this would be a great time to bring in a filler post. I've gotten a lot done over the past month and I mean a lot. And when I mean done, I'm talking about tattoos on my body (no naughty parts, sorry ladies,) painting and purchases to enhance my 6th Edition experience. Since I don't want to overwhelm with too big of a picture dump I'll show you all what's been depleting my wallet lately and save the painting album for later this week. More after the jump.

Look What I Did: 2011

The year is quickly coming to a close and rather than look at my hobby table and dwell on all of the work I need to get done, I'll choose on this day to reminisce on all that I have actually accomplished. It's been a busy/full year for me for the hobby, and I didn't fully realize this until I actually put some thought into it. With the AdMech fandex taking up more than half of the year and Necrons coming out towards the end, I've been swamped, but very delighted. I'm looking forward to 2012 and all it will bring. Traitor Legions, 6th Edition, the end of the world; the list goes on. As for 2011, I present to you the start of the newest article series I have dubbed; Look What I Did.
