v5.022811.L Of The Adeptus Mechanicus Is Here!

First and foremost, I would like to give special thanks once again to Derek Reihe and Nick Thom for their continuous and tremendous help on this FanDex. I assure you this new version would look nothing like it does without their amazing ideas and help. I'd also like to thank all of you who have emailed me your opinions, criticism, battle reports, kind words and angry cursing. I do read each and every email I receive and take most into consideration when making changes. And finally, a great thanks to my gaming buddies of Twin-Linked Awesome that have helped me playtest my creations and have been sure to give me that you're-dumb look when something doesn't work.

Adeptus Mechanicus:

Actual Fanbase Attractiveness May Vary

Hello, again. As we're approaching the final few days before v2.0 of the AdMech FanDex, I wanted to take a few minutes to describe some of what you all will be seeing. As of today, the dex is ready to roll, most everything has been finalized and I should be posting the new version on the 28th. The only reason for the delay is I'd like to get in one more day of playtesting before launch. So since things are pretty concrete at this point, I'm going to delve into what new units are awaiting everyone in a couple of days. More after the jump.

FanDex Insight

Hello again, ladies and gents. From the emails I've received I know you all are eager to see the upcoming version 2 of the beta for the Adeptus Mechanicus, and I have to say I'm just as excited if not more so. But before I'm finished up here, I'd like to go a little in depth into how I've come across the changes I've made for the next version of my fandex, and what other fandex creators can do to help themselves along into making their project even better. More info after the jump.

Shout Out:
The Codex Project

Welcome back. This week I've got a treat for all of you Home-brewers out there. While I'm always a fan of homemade intoxication products, I don't mean you owners of Blichman products. I'm talking about you 40kers that have the beast inside you, incapable of being satisfied with what GW has provided. Did they do the rules incorrectly? Did they not include an army that you think should have a codex right next to the Dark Angels? Honestly, I think we all have these thoughts. You read a few books from the Black Library and your imagination will become your own personal masochist for your future gaming experiences. The beast within; this is what forces you to take action. This is what sits you down on a Tuesday afternoon and compels you to tack away at the keyboard for hours with one goal: Do things better. With probably a side goal: nachos. For those of you with this drive, there's a place to call home. More after the jump.
