After purchasing my first models for the AdMech in the mail a little over two weeks ago, I was very eager to get some of them finished ASAP. While the construction and conversions were quite simple, if the painting had been left up to me, you would be seeing this post months from now. Thankfully, my buddy Mr. Lemon offered to paint my first Praetorian troop for my birthday. Needless to say, I shoved all my paints, brushes and Praetorians at him and ran away quickly. A week later I got them back, beautifully painted. Mr. Lemon is very quick and very talented with painting. After adding the basing and some Quickshade, they are complete. More pics after the break.
I'll also take this time to mention that after over two years of tabletop I finally have a lightbox for taking pictures. Thanks for the lightbox tutorial goes out to The Dark Worskshop! Your tutorial rocked!

That's all for now, folks. I'll have some conversions incoming this week, so stay tuned for that.
Later days.
That's some effect. They look the part. With finished models the whole project gets that much more real.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I'm within striking distance of getting mine done as well, I like the way yours have turned out!
ReplyDeleteI really like how they took to the quick shade. I can't wait to see them up close.

ReplyDeleteYou're tellin' me. Playing AdMech is a lot more fun when they aren't Space Marine proxies..
@Mordian
Just saw your models, they look fantastic!

I like what the Quickshade does with everything; amazing tool. Epic paint job, Mr. Lemon. Many thanks.
